This means that unless they refocus by investing in the brand, increasing relevance and creating strong points of differentiation, Lindt will soon be seen as having low brand strength as well as brand stature.
The very traditional, emotional brand mainly appeals to a target audience that is growing older and Lindt will need to actively address the following generations instead of relying on previous success and brand knowledge and esteem gained through loyal, older target audiences.
